36th European Workshop for Rheumatology Research

February 25 – 27, 2016
York, United Kingdom

Dear Friends,

We are delighted to invite you to the 36th EWRR congress to be held in York between 25-27th of February, 2016. The value of EWRR relies on the facts that it has always been a relatively small meeting with maximum 300 participants, aiming particularly at younger researchers and PhD students that facilitates friendly atmosphere, lively discussions and fosters international collaborations. Indeed, for many years, EWRRs have served as a platform for basic science, clinical and translational scientists to get together and to present and discuss their research. It is our main objective to continue within this prestigious series and to provide an active and stimulating meeting for all participants.

The 36th EWRR meeting will cover topic at the forefront of rheumatology research, including among others, recent advances in innate and adaptive immunity, epigenetic and “omics”, imaging for the first time at EWRR, novel therapies and regenerative medicine as well as 2 sessions focused on Pre-RA an CDT. We will use the usual meeting format including broad perspective presentations by invited world leaders followed by selected abstract for oral presentations by young scientists.

York, the ancient capital of the UK, is a city of history, medieval architecture, student life, good food & wine. We are pleased to welcome you to this fantastic location and to this next interesting edition of the EWRR series.

Sincerely, on behalf of the Local Scientific Committee
