35th European Workshop for Rheumatology Research

March 5 – 7, 2015
Budapest, Hungary

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

The series of EWRR congresses was launched in 1981 and we are happy to invite you to the 35th EWRR congress to be held in Budapest between 5-7 March, 2015. The beauty of EWRR relies on the facts that it has always been a relatively small meeting with maximum 300 participants, without parallel sessions that enables friendly atmosphere, lively discussions and active communications.

The 35th EWRR meeting will cover issues related to cutting edge rheumatology research. Topics covered at the meeting will include, among others, mechanisms of bone destruction in arthritis and gout, special T and B cell subsets, nuclear receptor signaling, cellular transport and microvesicles, fibroblast activation and fibrosis, key mechanisms of angiogenesis and atherosclerosis, miRNA regulation. In addition to discuss these pathogenetic aspects, we will also touch on recent advances in targeted therapy. We will compare systems biology and individualized therapy. Finally, we will try to address special topics reflecting the taste of Hungary.

Budapest, the pearl of the Danube, the capital of Hungary, is a city of history, architecture, thermal spas, good food and wine. We are pleased to welcome you to this picturesque location and to the next very interesting chapter of the EWRR saga.
